Manga Entertainment, today have confirmed that they will be bringing the iconic science fiction monster Godzilla to cinemas in August with the theatrical release of Shin Godzilla from Toho Company, Ltd. Shin Godzilla will be wreaking havoc at cinemas for a limited engagement on Thursday 10th August. Tickets are now available for pre-purchase via the official movie website at shingodzillamovie.co.uk

Shin Godzilla is the 29th Godzilla film produced by Toho and represents a brand new chapter in the 62-year history of this celebrated movie monster. The film itself is being co-directed by the equally iconic Hideaki Anno (creator of Evangelion) and Shinji Higuchi (director of Toho’s 2015 Attack on Titan live action movies).

Synopsis
When a massive, gilled monster emerges from the deep and tears through the city, the government scrambles to save its citizens. A rag-tag team of volunteers cuts through a web of red tape to uncover the monster’s weakness and its mysterious ties to a foreign superpower. But time is not on their side—the greatest catastrophe to ever befall the world is about to evolve right before their very eyes.
