Deep Silver have just released a brand new trailer that details the enhanced battle system for upcoming title Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.The game itself will launch on September 5th, 2017 and will be available both physically and digitally for PlayStation 4, priced at £39.99.
How does the battle system in Mask of Truth differ you ask? Firstly, there will be a lot more battles to get involved in. Given the unstable nature of the current nations either scrambling to join the Yamato Empire or resist it expect a fight to break out at any moment. Extended Action Chains, a higher-level cap, and the introduction of Co-op Final and Co-op Chain attacks add a new layer of strategy to the turn-based battles.
After the events of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, Haku is destined to rally the nation of Ennakamuy to fight against the evil forces that now control the Yamato throne. With everything on the line, Haku and his friends must do everything in their power to ensure that the future of Yamato triumphs over the true evil that lurks in the depth of the darkness.
