Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! Trailer & Release Date Announced!

The Pokémon Company have recently announced a new pair of Pokémon titles from GAME FREAK that are set to release on the Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are the latest pair of Pokémon games to come to the franchise after rumours of their development have been making the rounds.

In addition, The Pokemon Company also announced that a new “core” Pokémon title is in development for the second half of 2019.

An exciting new Pokémon RPG for Nintendo Switch!
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! bring the experience of a classic Pokémon RPG to Nintendo Switch with beautiful HD graphics and gameplay that is easily approachable for newcomers to the series, but is also deep enough to keep veteran Trainers on their toes.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, based on 1998’s Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, will share a deep connection to Niantic’s Pokémon GO. This should serve as a great way to bring in new players to the series and for those that want to further deepen their experience with Pokémon GO and vice versa. The games will also feature two-player simultaneous play, allowing you to share your journey with a friend.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! makes use of the Switch’s Joy-Con allowing you to throw Poké Balls in-game with the flick of a wrist. To take this even further The Poké Ball Plus (sold separately), a Poké Ball-shaped device, can be used in place of a Joy-Con and comes with added features such as a variety of lighting colours, vibration and sounds. With the Poké Ball Plus, you can even take a Pokémon from the game and into the real world albeit inside the ball through the use of lighting and sounds effects. The Poké Ball Plus can even be used in place of a Pokémon GO Plus when playing Pokémon GO.
