The internet has been buzzing with the news that Studio Ghibli will be shutting down it’s animation studio, but is that true? Well, they are certainly considering making some changes. Studio Ghibli’s Co-Founder Toshio Suzuki appeared on the TBS program Jounetsu Tairiku and explained about the Studio’s plans to restructure and pause production for now. However, the changes they make may include dismantling the animation department. At the moment it is unclear which direction Studio Ghibli is heading, but they seem focused on making changes and creating opportunities for the next generation.
