Winter 2014 Anime Season Has Begun

And so the Winter 2014 anime season has begun with the first batch of shows having aired there first episode already. Here’s a few shows that I’m keeping my eye on, links have been added to series that are already on Crunchyroll or Wakanim those that don’t have either not been confirmed yet or haven’t aired yet.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren (Kyoto Animation)
If you haven’t seen the first season be sure to check it out its KyoAni doing what they do best, entertain.

Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) 2nd Season (A-1 Pictures)
I’m glad to see the second season so soon as the first was so much fun, from the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Nisekoi (Shaft)
I love the manga and this adaptation has everything going for it, the studio, staff and cast. I cannot wait to see the first episode.

Nobunaga the Fool (Satelight)
I’m always wary of anime that include historical figures even more so Nobunaga as there always seems to be too many each season but what made me watch this is the involvement of the creator of Macross. The first episode did not disappoint either still unsure about the concept though, I feel it would’ve worked fine without the historical figures.

Noragami (Bones)
Gods, monsters and outer body experiences what’s not to enjoy. The first episode was very interesting can’t wait to see more.

Space Dandy (Bones)
From the creator of Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo and Kids on the slope and with might of Bones behind him how can this not be a success?. The first episode had me choking on my breakfast with laughter, this is going to be a fun show to follow. You also have a choice of sub and dub.

Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta (The Pilot`s Love Song) (TMS Entertainment)
Not often do we see an anime about planes and pilots, I think this will be a nice step away from all the mecha and high school drama and deliver a good love story with drama and some action too.
