Universal Pictures UK recently released their debut anime with Seraph of the End Season 1 Part 1, you can read our review here and see our unboxing here. Now attentions turn towards their next release, The Heroic Legend of Arslan Season 1 Part 1 Collector’s Edition on both Blu-ray and DVD.
A little bad news to kick us off though as the release date has been changed from its original date of 4th July to the new date of 25th July, this is due to a lengthier approval process.
Now onto the good, we now have a exploded pack shot to look at for this Collector’s Edition!
The Collector’s Edition comes with a whole range of goodies that are sure to gets fans excited. The set comes housed in a rigid case with a two-disc digipack, an English translated 80-page art book, a set of 12 art cards and a set of four character trading cards. This alone would make for a nice Collector’s Edition but the fun doesn’t end there. The set also comes with a map of the world depicted in the series and what appears to be a shogi-esque board game along with both a board and playing pieces.
That last item along is sure to raise a few eyebrows, it’s certainly a unique item to include, and I seriously cannot wait to get hold of a copy!
