As we mentioned last week due to a mass set of delays this week is pretty barren in terms of anime releases, unfortunately. February looks set to be a better month but there’s an ever-present chance that we could see another set of delays. It’s not all doom and gloom however as there’s a decent selection of manga to be released and we’re sure there are a couple of games still keeping people occupied from last week.
So our sole anime release of the week comes in the form of Claymore Collector’s Edition Collection on Blu-ray from All the Anime. This marks the 26-episode series’ first release on Blu-ray in the UK and we’re really interested in seeing how it compares to its manga counterpart. Expect a review for Claymore Collector’s Edition Collection to go live within the week.
There’s more of a mixed bag when it comes to the manga releases this week, no one publisher is dominating proceedings but there’s plenty of great series on offer. Kodansha Comics are getting in on the current GITS buzz with a couple of Ghost in the Shell Deluxe Edition releases. Dark Horse Manga bring us another RG Veda Omnibus and Viz Media continue to provide us with more Tokyo Ghoul.

Only one game release on our docket this week and a good one for Disgaea fans as Disgaea 2 PC heads to Steam from NIS America.
