Out This Week – 26th December 2016

Firstly, we hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and that you all got what you wished for. Secondly, this week marks the last in 2016 and come this Sunday we will be firmly in 2017. What awaits us in the new year? only time can tell but you can be sure it will be filled with more anime, manga and games.

Before we wave goodbye to 2016 there are still a couple of releases still to come and that means we finally see the release of Nerima Daikon Brothers Complete Collection on DVD from All the Anime. Original licensed as one of All the Anime’s very early titles it has seen numerous delays but finally we can see it get the release it deserves. Universal Pictures UK end the year with another fantastic Collector’s Edition in the form of The Heroic Legend Of Arslan: Series 1 Part 2 on Blu-ray and DVD. We aim to have reviews for both of these series live within the week but given the Christmas season forgive us if these get delayed. We do however have an unboxing video up on our YouTube channel for The Heroic Legend Of Arslan: Series 1 Part 2 which we hope you’ll enjoy.

Not the colossal titan of manga releases this week but a rather modest selection featuring the likes of Magi, Mysterious Girlfriend X and Your Lie in April plus more.
