It’s Jordan here this week, filling in for our editor-in-chief, Nick, who has decided to flee the country and was last spotted in China.
Last week may have had only one anime release, but this week sees five, and that’s after a few more were delayed until next month. The first Funimation release in the UK under their distribution deal with All The Anime, Yona of the Dawn, is out today, and we should have our review up later. Meanwhile, Universal are releasing their second title – The Heroic Legend of Arslan Series 1 – Part 1, and Animatsu Entertainment bring us the second live action Attack on Titan movie.
There’s plenty of manga this week, including the first volumes of the manga versions of some current simulcasts – Sweetness and Lightning, and Re:ZERO.
Friday sees the release of Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force on PS4 by Idea Factory International; this title uses a modified Hyperdimension Neptunia battle system, so we know there’s going to be plenty of people looking forward to this game.
