Out This Week – 24th October 2016

Two weekends worth of Scotland Loves Animation are behind us (we’re very jealous of all those that were able to attend) and this weekend is the all important MCM Comic Con London. Before that though we have more anime, manga and games to get stuck into.

We begin the week with All the Anime who are bringing Blood Blockade Battlefront to Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and standard DVD. They’re also giving the Steelbook treatment to another classic in Perfect Blue. Animatsu / Manga treat us with sequel title My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Too! available in Blu-ray and DVD combi pack form and Pokemon The Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages on both Blu-ray and DVD. Lastly, we have MVM Entertainment with Nobunaga the Fool Part 1 available on both Blu-ray and DVD.

Another good looking week as for as manga releases go and a lot to like for fans of Yen Press with titles such as Akame Ga Kill!, Re:ZERO: -Starting Life in Another World- and Sword Art Online Progressive. Kodansha Comics bring us more fan favourites in Fairy Tail Master’s Edition, Genshiken: Second Season and Noragami: Stray God.

There’s a bigger selection of games incoming this week more than we’d usually see and a lot to get excited for. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam from Bandai Namco Entertainment. Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence – Ascension heads to PlayStation 4 and Steam from Koei Tecmo. PQube brings the gorgeous visual novel Root Letter to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Square Enix add another Final Fantasy title to their growing games catalogue with World of Final Fantasy on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Lastly, NIS America brings Yomawari: Night Alone to PlayStation Vita.
