Time to brush off the cobwebs and get this weekly update back out into the netsphere. Its been a couple of weeks since we put one out with the reason being that we had delayed our monthly releases schedules to update them and start the new monthly Light Novel schedule. So, if you haven’t already checked them out then do so if you want to see what is to come in the month ahead, for now, let’s jump into what’s coming to retail this week.
All the Anime start us off with two releases of Eureka 7 the first of which comes in the form of a Part 1 Standard Edition Blu-ray which includes the first half of the series, episodes 1 to 26. The second is the Eureka 7 Ultimate Edition Blu-ray release which includes the entire 50 episode series alongside physical extras and a ton of on-disc extras.
Girls und Panzer fans should be happy with the release of Girls und Panzer: This is the Real Anzio Battle OVA which comes to Blu-ray and DVD Double Play via MVM Entertainment. Also, from MVM this week is the DVD releases of Girls und Panzer der Film and Norn 9 Collection.
Lastly, as far as anime releases Manga Entertainment release Satoshi Kon’s Paprika as a Blu-ray and DVD Double Play set.
As mentioned above we made some updates/changes to how we put together our monthly schedule more specifically in the Manga and newly created Light Novel schedules. You’ll now find digital releases have now been included as well as a return to Amazon UK for release dates. While not a perfect solution we hope this will be the best method of providing accurate (or as close as possible) dates for UK releases.
