The dust has settled and normality returns (for now) in the anime industry but we’ll see how that pans out over time. Meanwhile, here in the UK its business as usual and we have a number of releases coming this week.
Let’s kick-off with All the Anime this week as they are bringing us two titles in Beck: The Complete Collection on DVD and Samurai Flamenco – Part 2 of 2 on Blu-ray. This will be the first full release of Beck within the UK and we’ll have a review up for it very soon. Again with Samurai Flamenco review copies weren’t available and so it’s unlikely we’ll be reviewing it.
MVM Entertainment brings 11 Eyes Complete Collection on DVD which we will have a review up later this week and Manga Entertainment bring us Naruto Shippuden Box Set 25 on DVD of which you can read our review here.
An interesting week for Manga, you may have noticed that there is a number of Hunter x Hunter volumes scheduled for release and we’ve been monitoring the dates via Amazon but as they have stayed firm for a couple weeks now we included them. Elsewhere, Udon Entertainment release Kill la Kill Volume 3 but Viz Media easily dominate the week with a selection of fan favourites.
This week sees the release of Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors sequel to Criminal Girls: Invite Only also from NIS America, you can read our review of Criminal Girls: Invite Only here, Criminal Girls is definitely one of those games that come with a big reputation but just know that there is a solid game under all the fan-service. We’ll have a review for Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors up very soon.
