We’re firmly in the run up to Christmas and don’t all the publishers and distributors know it. This week we have a monster about of anime (well 10) as well as a large selection of manga. We’re heading for an exciting couple of weeks as more and more content is pumped out in time for these Xmas lists.
While start proceedings with All the Anime who bring us half of the week’s anime releases. First up is the Escaflowne Ultimate Editon on Blu-ray, note that there is a disc placement scheme already in place, see details here. Next up is the Fullmetal Alchemist Ultimate Edition on Blu-ray which has already started to make its way into the hands of eager fans. Miss Hokusai finally makes its release as an Ultimate Edition Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray and DVD. Outlaw Star returns for the first time on Blu-ray in Collector’s Edition form, you can find our review here. Lastly, All the Anime bring us the first part of Your Lie in April on Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and standard DVD.
MVM Entertainment brings Chobits Complete Collection to the UK for the first time on Blu-ray and From the New World Collection on DVD. Animatsu Entertainment brings us The Perfect Insider Series Collection as a Blu-ray & DVD combi pack while parent company Manga Entertainment treat us to two massive hits of nostalgia. Digimon: Digital Monsters Season 2 comes to DVD while Pokemon Movie Collection comes to a Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray and standard DVD.
