It has to be said that with the release of Nintendo Switch last Friday not a lot of work has been done since. While we try to rectify that this week here at Japan Curiosity HQ those Zelda withdrawal symptoms will be hitting us hard. Regardless, it’s a new month and a new week and that means new anime, manga and of course games.
We kick off the week with a Funimation release in the form of Brothers Conflict Complete Series on Blu-ray, this was originally intended as a Blu-ray & DVD combo pack but the DVD was dropped and is now Blu-ray-only.
Anime Limited revisit Full Metal Panic with a Seasons 1-3 Collection on Blu-ray which is exclusive to their AllTheAnime.com web store. Full Metal Panic – Season 1 and Full Metal Panic – The Second Raid are also available as separate standard edition Blu-ray releases.
Lastly, for anime releases this week is RE-KAN! Complete Collection which is available on Blu-ray and DVD from MVM Entertainment.
Plenty of manga releases to get stuck into this week and if you’re looking forward to the release of Persona 5 next month then Udon Entertainment have got you covered with more Persona 3 & 4 manga. If Persona isn’t your thing then there’s plenty more to get excited about including One-Punch Man, Interviews With Monster Girls and Nichijou.
While we’re still buzzing about the release of Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild there are of course games still coming to other platforms. Koei Tecmo brings the latest Atelier entry – Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey to PlayStation 4, Vita and Steam. Finally, NieR: Automata from Square Enix hits PlayStation 4 and Steam this week.
