Manga Entertainment announced via their Twitter feed yesterday that the upcoming release of Digimon Adventure Tri: The Movie Part 1 will be delayed but for good reason. The new release date for the home video release of Digimon Adventure Tri has now been set for 22nd May 2017.
The reason for this delay is that Manga Entertainment have partnered with Shout! Factory, the North American distributor of the movie, which means “fantastic new bonus content”. What this new bonus content is exactly will be revealed in time and will accompany the already confirmed English dub audio.
Delays can be annoying and we as fans can understand the frustration but also remember these companies work extremely hard to provide us with the best possible product and don’t take decisions like this lightly.
