Nintendo has announced that the 3DS port of Square Enix’s Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will be coming to both Europe and North America on 20th January 2017.
Square Enix released the original Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King on PlayStation 2 back in 2004 in Japan. The game eventually made its way to North America in 2005 and to Europe in 2006. In 2013 a iOS/Android port was released in Japan with a worldwide release following in 2014.
The Nintendo 3DS port of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will include a new story scenario along with two new party members, the game will also support 3DS StreetPass functions.
