The Last -Naruto the Movie- marks the manga’s 15th anniversary of serialization in Shounen Jump and is Naruto’s tenth big screen outing. The movie will hit theatres all over Japan on December 6th and will be part of a bigger celebration of the long-running series, “Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project” (Naruto’s Start of a New Era Project). The writer of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto is in charge of the story and character designs for the movie. He has even given Naruto a new design, with shorter hair.

The narrator tells us that Naruto’s battle is moving towards a surprising development and in winter 2014, the final stage will be revealed. The movie will connect to the next generation and go beyond the original story.
