Today I was lucky enough to attend a preview of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders . During the event we saw two episodes of the new anime series, followed by the voice actor of Jotaro , Ono Daisuke , taking to the stage with two members of the crew who worked on the series.
They discussed the character’s powers “Stands” and the Joestar family tree as well as the upcoming JoJo RaDIO show and about campaigns which were previously mentioned during the stage event last weekend, such as limited goods at the convenience store, Lawson and exclusive Coca-Cola products which will be avilable throughout April.
The story of Stardust Crusaders takes place 100 years after Jonathan Joestar defeated Dio Brando . However, Dio has returned and now Jonathan’s descendants, Joseph Joestar and his grandson Jotaro Kujo must find a way to destroy their ancestral enemy once and for all.
The two episodes we saw gave us a nice glimpse into what lies ahead for the series, JoJo’s return is a strong one, with its usual fabulous animation and the incredible vocal talents of Ishizuka Unsho , Ono Daisuke , Miyake Kenta and Komatsu Fumino . Sadly the opening and ending was cut out of the episodes, so that’s something I’m really looking forward to seeing next week when it premieres on April 4th. You can expect another strong adaptation of this legendary series!
