It’s been a busy week here at J-Curi! Let’s take a look back at what’s been going on.
5 things to prepare you for life in Japan : Part 2
We started off the week with the second part of Jack Neighbour’s 5 things to prepare you for life in Japan. This is a must for anyone thinking of moving to Japan! There’s definitely a lot of obstacles when you move to a new country and Japan’s no exception. It’s worth a read so you’re clued up on some of the most annoying ones Japan will throw at you!
Ground Zeroes at BAFTA
Guest writer Kim Man’s brief review of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is definitely worth the read! Preorders of this game are starting to arrive and there’s been some mixed feedback over this game. The graphics are a clear winner, but the controls appear to take some getting used to, and it’s fairly short considering the price. Let us know what you think!
Review – The Witch and the Hundred Knight
The Witch and the Hundred Knight looks like an awesome dungeon crawler! Nick Cooney’s review is a great overview of the pros and cons to this game. It definitely looks interesting, with a unique graphics style and some interesting gameplay elements. Check it out!
Japanese Culture in France
Our very own Kurunandan Jain’s been spending time in Paris comparing attitudes to J-Culture between France and the UK. It’s an interesting read! I was surprised to see just how popular Japanese media is over there. Check it out!
