Mahouka Koukou ni Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School), is a new anime series based on the popular Dengeki Bunko light novel series of the same name. The series has been running since July 2011 and currently has 12 volumes out. The anime adaptation is being produced by Madhouse and Aniplex and will be directed by Manabu Ono of Saki and A-Channel fame, with Yuuji Kumazawa, director of Sunday Without God taking up the assistant director role. The anime will start airing on April 6th in Japan and Aniplex of America will be streaming on their website.
I attended the stage event of the series last weekend at AnimeJapan 2014 and it is looking great, with a fantastic cast including Yuuichi Nakamura and Saori Hayami, music performed by LiSA and ELISA, there is every reason to keep this show on your radar.
