Launching this past June HIDIVE the newest player in the anime streaming market has gone from strength to strength with its expanding catalogue of popular titles but has been sorely lacking in different ways to consume their product.
Launching with a website, that’s still in beta, and no mobile apps in sight it goes to show how access to great content can really help a service grow into its own. Fast forward almost half a year and we finally have other means of consuming HIDIVE’s content with the release of a mobile app for both Android and iOS devices.
According to their website apps for TV and Consoles are “Coming in 2018” so we’ll still have to wait a little longer for those.
