Tokyo, Japan – October 27, 2016 “Corona Blossom Vol.2 The Truth From Beyond”, the second entry in visual novel developer Frontwing’s Corona Blossom series, has been released on Steam. The Steam store page for the game can be accessed at the following URL: http://store.steampowered.com/app/531730

“Corona Blossom” is a comedic visual novel series set to be released in three parts. “The Truth From Beyond” is the second volume and retails for $10 USD, but is on sale for 10% off during the first week following launch. An 18+ patch to add adult content to the game is also available for $10 USD from JAST USA: https://jlist.com/FWNG002

“The Truth From Beyond” follows directly on the cliffhanger ending of the first game, which saw the villainous space pirate Lily preparing to take main heroine R-ne hostage. The game features both lighthearted comedic scenes as well as more dramatic storytelling and action sequences, delving into the backstory of both R-ne and the main protagonist Keiji. It also makes use of the e-mote system to bring an unprecedented lifelike quality to the characters.

Corona Blossom Vol.2 experienced a very successful Indiegogo campaign, with almost 1000 contributors and over $40,000 raised for the production of physical goods for the game. A further campaign is planned for the final installment of the series later this year.

The game’s development staff include character artist nanaca mai, the illustrator for the SD art for the Grisaia series, and Yuhi Nanao, a scenario writer who worked on “Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori” (Hatsumira, or From the Future Undying).

The entire Corona Blossom series is being localized in English by Frontwing’s experienced new in-house translation team, the members of which are proficient Japanese to English translators who possess JLPT N1 certification or equivalent. It also features a brand-new system allowing simultaneous display of English and Japanese text during gameplay, as well as language switching at the press of a button.
