Bandai Namco Entertainment yesterday sent out a press statement announcing the release of the latest installment in the Sword Art Online game series – Lost Song.
SWORD ART ONLINE: LOST SONG LAUNCHES TODAY ON PLAYSTATION®4 and PLAYSTATION®Vita
A brand new game based on the ever-growing SWORD ART ONLINE franchise is now available via digital download and in-stores. For its release on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita, SWORD ART ONLINE: Lost Song includes subtitles in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
Featuring an original story created exclusively for the game by Reki Kawahara, SWORD ART ONLINE: Lost Song offers a unique experience for fans of the anime and newcomers alike. Face-off against a mysterious guild and explore the beautiful land of Svart ALfheim – a brand new area of ALfheim Online (as seen in the anime). Fly across the world and fight enemies in unique aerial combat, traverse from one floating island to the next, explore dungeons and complete dangerous quests. A revised fighting system also allows players to engage enemies in dynamic and thrilling combat.

We are investing in this brand by bringing more games to the online and physical shelves, by localizing them, by working hand in hand with the original author, by creating exclusive content and offers for our fans and above all: by listening to them. We hope that Sword Art Online Lost Song will hit home for our players and that they will support us in the future!” Hervé Hoerdt, VP of Marketing and Digital at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe
