Last week saw some industry changing news that seemly came out of nowhere and if you haven’t seen our article on the Crunchyroll / Funimation partnership then check it out here. Meanwhile, its business as usual for most and we have a number of releases coming this week.
Another week a little light on anime titles before it gets stepped up at the end of the month. MVM Entertainment once again kicks off the week with Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East Season 2 Collection available on both Blu-ray and DVD. Manga Entertainment brings us Naruto‘s comedy spin-off title Naruto: Rock Lee and His Ninja Pals Collection 1 available on DVD. There’re some interesting manga titles coming out this week including Spoof on Titan, a 4-panel parody-spinoff manga series to the popular Attack on Titan, from Kodansha Comics. Tsutomu Nihei’s Blame! see’s a brand new run in the English speaking would thanks to the brilliant people over at Vertical Inc. This week will see Square Enix’s Dragon Quest VII making it’s way to Nintendo 3DS, MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death hits PlayStation Vita from Idea Factory International, Inc. Let’s not forget that the Visual Novel PSYCHO-PASS: Mandatory Happiness arrives on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam from NIS America.
