Earlier today the Danganronpa Presentation Press Conference took place in Japan where Spike Chunsoft unveiled a brand new trailer for New Danganronpa V3: Everyone’s New Semester of Killing and announced a new original anime Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy.
New Danganronpa V3: Everyone’s New Semester of Killing
Spike Chunsoft unveiled a brand new trailer for the game earlier today, the game itself will be the first in the series to be available on a home console and is set for release in Japan in 2016 for both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. New Danganronpa V3 is a completely new chapter in the series, it will retain the mascot character Monokuma and the basic system from previous games, it will not take place at Hope’s Peak Academy or feature any other returning characters.
Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy
This new original anime series is set to air in Japan in 2016 and will follow the events of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair as the final conclusion to the “Hope’s Peak Academy” story.
NIS America released the first two games in the series Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair as well as the side story Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls in Europe and North America.
Manga UK recently release the anime adaptation of the first game, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, known as Danganronpa The Animation on Blu-ray and DVD.
