Just as anime is set to return to UK televisions, on the Viceland channel, a new anime streaming service opens its doors.
HIDIVE a brand new legal anime streaming service launched its beta service yesterday June 20th and while the service appears to be primarily US-centric they have stated in their press release that they will offer thousands of hours of anime to a global viewing audience.
Having tried a couple of episodes on the service ourselves we can confirm from what we have tried works in the UK. Of course, a good selection of titles are exclusive to their premium membership which costs a low $3.99 which works out at a current exchange rate of £3.15, per month. There is also ad-supported streaming which allows you to watch for free but with advertising and in standard definition quality.
